Here's looking forward to tomorrow, or at the stroke of midnight
As far as I can remember it has always been called the Anglican Cathedral, back in the 50's 'twas so, that was long before Paddys Wigwam came to be.
The Roman Catholics always intended building a cathedral in Liverpool, so St Nicholas's RC Church, Hawke Street/Copperas Hill (opened 1812) became the Pro-Cathedral RC Church of St Nicholas.
This was probably from the 1930s when work first started on the Mount Pleasant site.
How the hell is St Georges Hall so white?
Nice pic though.
Gididi Gididi Goo.
That is so much better than my picture of the fountain...seems I have narrowly escaped extreme embarrassment. Imagine if I had posted mine at the same moment you posted yours...

Chris, It's a coincidence you mention Tom Slemen and ghosts, because I sent him this link for a laugh about two years ago. He had a bit of a giggle over it. It only works in Internet Explorer though.

Great Photo, the perfect answer to anyone who questioned us getting the Capital of Culture.
I remember seeing that a while ago Dave and I can't think where. Did u have it on your liverpoolpictorial site?
I've added a date above your POD too. We've got a nice gallery for January building up: Click here.
What a cracking idea Kev
It's on the downtownpictorial website that I done for Downtown Week in June.
